AFAB, BEZNA forms TWG to resolve issues

The Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB) and the Bataan Economic Zone Neighborhood Association (BEZNA) have agreed to jointly form a technical working group (TWG) to resolve delicate issues that had been troubling both parties.

The plan to form a TWG was finalized during a meeting of AFAB and BEZNA last week with Administrator Hussein Pangandaman, local residents and BEZNA officers to tackle important issues like housing, lands, and FAB residential pass and ID.

It was pointed out in the said gathering that the residential pass and ID system being implemented by AFAB will not in any way affect access, residency status or rights to housing program.

Possible sale of housing units may be implemented through proper procedure and legal means that is scheduled for discussion through yet to be formed TWG to crystallize the issue.

Administrator Pangandaman encouraged participants from both camps to keep an open mind and decide with utmost care and act objectively.
