Grace, intelligence, and undeniable charm took center stage as Fiona Kheily V. Samaniego of Barangay Mabuco was crowned Binibining Hermosa 2026 during the much-anticipated pageant held on April 17, 2026, at Tres Marias, Barangay San Pedro.
Despite a scaled-down production this year, the pageant maintained its elegance and prestige, showcasing the beauty and brilliance of 22 candidates who competed in the casual wear, swimsuit, and long gown segments. The competition intensified as the field was narrowed down to the Top 8, who faced the crucial question-and-answer round, before being trimmed further to the Top 3 finalists. In the spirit of fairness, each finalist answered the same question, highlighting not only their poise but also their wit and substance.
Hermosa Mayor Anne Adorable-Inton shared that this year’s pageant was intentionally simplified in compliance with a Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) memorandum related to the ongoing oil crisis. Nonetheless, she assured that all candidates were duly recognized for their dedication, beauty, and intelligence, each receiving an honorarium for their participation.
Meanwhile, Samantha Jorge of Barangay Culis was named First Runner-Up, while Samantha Perez of Barangay A. Rivera secured the title of Second Runner-Up. The newly crowned queens are set to grace the upcoming Grand Santacruzan on May 1, one of the highlights of Hermosa’s town fiesta, where they will once again showcase their elegance and cultural pride.
As the reigning queen, Samaniego will carry the banner of Hermosa as she represents the municipality in the prestigious Binibining Bataan pageant, poised to bring pride and honor to her hometown on a bigger stage.
