Bataan execs ink MOU with charging firm

The Provincial Government of Bataan led by Bataan Gov. Joet Garcia signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) in Morong town last April 30 with V-Green Charging Station Development Corporation to install charging stations in strategic parts of the province.

The move is aimed at encouraging the use of electric vehicles and put up charging stations in the province to promote clean, safe and sustainable transportation. The governor has said that lower cost operation could mean lower cost of fares in public transport system. He thanked the V-Green, said to be pioneer in developing charging stations in Southeast Asia, the local government of Morong, Penelco, DTI-Bataan, and the Bases Conversion and Development  Authority for their support.
