Electrotechnical Institute : Bridging Bataan as the center of Instrumentation Skills Training

Electrotechnical Institute is the pioneer in Instrumentation and Automation skills training in Central Luzon. EI has produced almost 1200 graduates in less than four years which include students from different provinces to other countries.

EI offers the most affordable and accessible training in Instrumentation and Control. EI holds monthly training and assessment, and makes it more accessible especially to OFW returnees who want to upgrade their credentials or to be certified in the field of Instrumentation and Control. EI emphasizes the effectiveness of extensive hands on training with the number of instruments and equipment available to the students. Trainees experience and immerse themselves in actual workplace simulations. Students would have acces to up to date calibrators and transmitters that supervisors, senior technicians, and engineers use in the field. These factors are very vital in producing not just employable, but also more competitive and globally competent workers.

Almost 35% of EI graduates, are now working abroad and their re commendations been EI’s best marketing tool.

“We receive calls past midnight due to a number of OFWs inquiring about our training. We are amazed how our graduates love EI. There would be times that a group of OFW returnees along with their co-workers, who heard about EI from their co-workers abroad, would enroll when they went back to the Philippines for their vacation”, Rea Reyes- Villano, School Administrator,EI.

A few months ago, three international EI graduates from USA and Brunei passed the TESDA National Assessment for the qualification Instrumentation and Control Servicing NC II.

To date, almost 21% of EI is enrollees come from different parts of the country, a testament to the level of service a student gets when they enroll in EI.
