BIR and PESO Bataan to hold jobs fair

BALANGA CITY, Bataan -The Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) Bataan Revenue District Office 20 in cooperation with Public Employment Service Office will hold a jobs fair in the morning of June 9 at the PESO capitol office.

Gemo Espinosa, BIR Bataan administrative officer, said interested applicants must bring an application letter indicating the position applied for and the preferred place of assignment; resume or personal data sheet with recent 2 X 2 photo; and photocopy of transcript of records.

He added that applicants must also bring a photocopy of diploma; authenticated copy of civil service eligibility (for those who are civil service eligible); photocopy of the certificate of membership in the Philippine Bar (for lawyers); and photocopy of PRC Board Rating and PRC license (for CPAs and other professionals). He stressed that only applicants with complete requirements will be scheduled for pre-employment examination.

Espinosa said the staging of the jobs fair is through the initiative of Bataan Revenue District Officer Rey Roberto Manalili and PESO Bataan. He said successful applicants can be assigned at BIR Bataan or other BIR offices.
