Bataan Peninsula State University (BPSU) Vice President for Research and Extension Dr. Hermogenes Paguia said Raul Ronquillo from Abucay town has signed a memorandum of agreement with the University joining other farmers in the province to become a cooperator of the research project, “Community Participatory Action Research (CPAR), Diversified farming system on dry seeded, slaughter goat, and bio-organic fertilizer production in Bataan”.

“Aside from helping local farmers to adopt research-based technologies, the project also aims to guide Bataan farmers with their business ventures”, said Paguia.
“The project aims to maximize the production of cooperators’ rice farming areas with crop and livestock production”, he also said.

“By signing the agreement, Mr. Ronquillo also agrees to meet the responsibilities stated in the contract, part of which is to attend all orientations, meetings and seminars required”, he added.
Ma. Florinda Rubiano, Research and Development Office Director, said that the terms and conditions stated in the contract were explained in detail to the farmer for clearer understanding.
The signing was recently held at Dumangan Farm in Abucay.
