The Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB) and the Mariveles Local Government reconfirmed their partnership with the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) on Monday, January 30, 2023.
The agreement creates a Mariveles-AFAB Partnership Steering Committee (MAPSC) to improve their relationship and promote open communication for better delivery of public services.
The partnership aims to address issues of employment, economy, tourism, peace and security, social welfare and other sectors.
The MOA was signed by AFAB Administrator Emmanuel Pineda and Deputy Administrator Ma. Lourdes L. Herrera, as well as Mayor Ace Jello Concepcion and Vice Mayor Lito Rubia, with members of the Sangguniang Bayan as witnesses.
This demonstrates AFAB’s priority of maintaining a strong relationship with Mariveles Local Government to effectively contribute to the development of the Freeport Area of Bataan.
