Balanga City reaped new awards again strengthening its position as a “city of excellence”. The city was adjudged Top Performing LGU in Manila BAYani Awards and topped FishCA Awards participated by 187 LGUs.
DILG recently held the 2022 National Manila BAYani Awards and National FishCA-Fisheries Compliance Audit Awards.
Cenro Balanga said DILG recognizes the best practices of Balanga in environment protection and effective implementation of the programs and projects in liquid waste, solid waste, informal settler families, and IEC and institutional arrangements.
DILG congratulated Garcia, Venzon-Gozon, and other SP members as well as city department heads and 25 barangays for the achievements.
