During the 1st Quarter Joint Meeting of the Provincial Peace and Order Council (PPOC) and the Provincial Anti-Drug Abuse Council (PADAC) presided by Governor Albert Garcia held last January 28 at the 1Bataan Command Center in Orani, discussions were focused on the prevailing peace and order situation with emphasis on the continuing anti-illegal drugs campaign in the province.
In his 2019 annual report, PNP Provincial Director Villamor Tuliao underscored that Bataan maintains its distinction for achieving the Highest Crime Index Solution and Highest Crime Clearance Efficiency in the Region III.
Mr. Jimmy Angeles, representing the Metro Bataan Development Authority (MBDA) clarified that the 911 Hotline is fully operational, in the entire province not only in the Bataan highways but also in the national roads.
Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Bataan agent John Almerino congratulated the Province of Bataan for its successful anti-drug campaign over the years which became the basis for it to be declared as among the first drug free provinces in Central Luzon.
Also in attendance were Vice Governor Cris Garcia, Sangguniang Panlalawigan Member Popoy Del Rosario, representatives of the different local and national government agencies and other stakeholders.
