Bataan province has the biggest slice of the cake obtained from the national government for various infrastructure projects — at almost P5 billion.

This was discussed by Bataan 2nd District Congressman Albert S. Garcia during a recent meeting with district engineers, department heads, key government planners and representatives of concerned agencies.

The former provincial governor together with Hermosa Mayor Jopet Inton, Gov. Joet Garcia and Congresswoman Gila Garcia met at the Bunker to discuss the preparation of budget and how to wangle it– from Malacanang to the Senate, to Congress, to the Bicameral Committee, all the way to the concerned government agencies like the Department of Public Works and Highways.

Enrico Yuzon, provincial engineer, lauded Cong. Abet for his “expertise” in facilitating the necessary funding for various projects in Bataan.

“This is where the municipal and barangay master plans come into play,” Yuson said. “Pag may master plan na madali nang i-implement ang project,” he added.
