Bataan PNP: A model in Central Luzon

CAMP TOLENTINO, Bataan – Owing to the impressive programs for peace and order, new ideas   still unheard so far on how to combat crimes, protection of the public, among others, Chief Supt. Ronald V. Santos, PNP Central Luzon Director, lauded Tuesday the Bataan PNP leadership under Sr. Supt. Rhodel Sermonia, provincial director, (PD) and wanted that the initiatives being launched by the PNP director here will be a paradigm to the entire Region 3.

Governor Abet S. Garcia who witnessed the event together with Mr. Chito Sobrepena, President, Metro Bank Foundation, Inc.; Atty. Deo Custodio, Chairman of Freeport Authority of Bataan (FAB) and other guests also expressed admiration over the various programs for the maintenance of peace being undertaken by the PNP.

General Santos and Gov. Garcia said in their speeches that the programs being implemented by Col. Sermonia are worthy of emulation and these came at a time when the province is on its peak being the preferred investments site in the country.

Sermonia solicited the support of various local and barangay leaders, the business and even foreign groups, among others when he made them sign a commitment through a Memorandum of Understanding  for the maintenance in the peaceful province of Bataan.

Among the programs that Sermonia launched are the Patrol ng Bayan, tourist police and bike patrol.
