Bataan SK seeks P 4.5 million budget for year 2020

The Provincial Sangguniang Kabataan Federated chairperson is seeking for a budgetary allocation of P4.6 million for the implementation of youth development plans for 2020.

Sangguniang Kabataan Federated chairperson Precious D. Manuel, chair of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan (SP) Youth and Sports Development Committee, has stressed the proposed operational funds are intended for the enthusiastic immersion of the youth in promoting socio-economic and cultural projects, environmental protection, health and medical mission and other 20 innovative projects in the grassroots level.

According Board Member Manuel, the Sangguniang Kabataan is urging the local government units to cultivate an agro-entrepreneurship program for the youth in their localities which would harness the potentials of their creative industries to enable them to contribute to the intensification of food security and farm products of their respective communities.

Ms. Manuel added that the upgrading of technical know-how and fundamental sharing of responsibility to the youth are necessary factors of refining the road to better quality of life and deep-rooted commitment which may encourage the influx of locators in the province.

As the elected SK provincial federation president, Manuel sits as an ex-officio member of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan.
