Bataan SP passes ordinances on flag-raising guidelines, tourism data institutionalization

The Sangguniang Panlalawigan (SP) ng Bataan presided by Vice Gov. Cris Garcia has approved two significant ordinances during its regular session on December 2.

SP passed Ordinance No. 16, Series 2025, which strictly implements detailed guidelines on flag-raising ceremonies and proper gestures in accordance with Republic Act 8491 or the “Flag and Heraldic Code of the Philippines.”

The measure was endorsed by Board Member Roman Harold Espeleta and Board Member Jovic Baluyot.

SP also approved Ordinance No. 17, Series of 2025, which institutionalizes the Official Tourism Statistical System of the Province of Bataan.

The Ordinance aims to standardize tourism data collection and reporting in the province. It was endorsed by Board Member Mylene Serrano.
