Bataan 3rd District Congresswoman Gila Garcia sees the Bataan-Cavite Interlink Bridge project will transform Bataan into a megacenter. The bridge that will link Central Luzon and Northern Luzon is seen to propel the economy of the region especially Bataan, she said during the inauguration of FAB Central Terminal in Mariveles.
The bridge will reduce travel time from Bataan to Cavite from 5 hours to 40 minutes. “The Bataan-Cavite Interlink Bridge is a game changer”, said the congresswoman. The just grand launched central terminal complements the soon to be constructed interlink bridge. The bridge construction is also seen to boost the already fast-growing FAB.
Garcia also shared that recently she and District 3 mayors attended a Tobacco Summit in Indonesia wherein they also took the opportunity to benchmark tourism in Bali as Bataan District 3 with its sea and mountains, aspires to be developed as the “Bali of the Philippines”.
