BIR Bataan thanked the taxpaying public for settling tax obligations enabling them to hit P3 billion collection target even before the year ends.
“Nagpapasalamat ang aming Revenue District Officer Merlyn Vicente at Assistant Revenue District Officer Melinda Cruz sa suporta ng mga taxpayers sa ating distrito para ma achieve ang aming target collection”, said BIR Bataan and Human Resource Officer Gemo Espinosa.
Espinosa also said BIR Bataan (RDO 20) is one of the top performing districts of BIR Region 4.
He added withholding tax collection and revised zonal valuation helped them achieve collection goal.
“Nagpapasalamat ang BIR Bataan sa taxpaying public sa patuloy na pakikipagtulungan at kooperasyon para makamit at makamtan ang aming target collection. Naniniwala po tayo na ang pagbabayad po ng tamang buwis ay isang makabayang gawin”, he said.
