BPSU garners Presidential Lingkod Bayan Award

President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. presented the Presidential Lingkod Bayan Award to the Bataan Peninsula State University (BPSU) Health Beyond Bars (HBB) Team, headed by BPSU President Dr. Ruby Santos-Matibag, on September 18, 2024, at Malacañang Palace.

This accomplishment was made possible by the HBB Team’s dedication and persistence in offering easily accessible healthcare and educational programs. Persons Deprived of Liberty have benefited from the HBB Program, highlighting the crucial role these programs play in vulnerable communities. Said program also established a benchmark for other organizations to follow, aiding in larger campaigns for social justice.
