BALANGA CITY—The Overseas Workers and Welfares Administration (OWWA) will hold entrepreneurship development training here among Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) and their beneficiaries in the 2nd week of February.

Melchor Cui, PESO Bataan manager, said the training aims to equip OFWs, both active and inactive, and their beneficiaries with know-how to start a business.

He said OWWA also implements loan program to OFWS for them to have capital to start business.

Mamerto Mercado, OWWA Region 3 supervisor, will be facilitating the training proper.

About 30 OFWs and beneficiaries will be attending the training.

Cui said that the conduct of OWWA entrepreneurship development training has started years ago in the province.

He said the conduct of the training is in line with the thrust of Bataan Governor Albert Garcia to provide livelihood to Bataan folks.

An OWWA personnel is weekly reporting to the province to provide services to OFWs here.
