Cong. Garcia bats for export quality products

Bataan 3rd District Rep. Gila Garcia wants export quality products that can compete in the global market to sustain local enterprises.

In her recent meeting with officials of Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) led by Director Eileen Ocampo, Cong. Garcia asked the said agency to help identify and support products that can survive in the global market.

She said development of local items to compete with global products would help sustain medium and small enterprises specializing on certain electronics items that are uniquely Philippine made.

The lady solon vowed to meet often with DTI officials and coordinate with local entrepreneurs to upgrade local products to meet international standards.
