It was a tiring but satisfying experience, thus said Adner de Leon, administrator of the office of Dinalupihan Vice Mayor Renato Matawaran, who joined the one-week distribution of grocery items to 46 barangays (villages) of that municipality.

The truckloads of plastic canister containing various grocery items like canned goods, spaghetti, catsup, and other goodies rolled out from the municipal hall of Dinalupihan were part of “Pamaskong Handog” of Bataan Gov. Albert Garcia.

De Leon said together with heads of municipal government agencies and employees, the group “invaded” far-flung villages of Dinalupihan, Bataan to bring goodies to the needy villagers to lighten up their burden this pandemic period.

“We have spent more than one week to track down a total of 46 barangays to give away the governor’s “Pamaskong Handog” to the poor and not so poor families in Dinalupihan,” De Leon said.
