MORONG, Bataan- The Australian Agency for International Development (AusAID) donated Monday morning a total of P5.6 million classroom building to Morong National High School in Morong town.
This was the biggest ever grant by the Australian government in this coastal town.
Morong Town Mayor Jorge Estanislao who acknowledged the support of AusAID which bestowed the two-storey, four-classroom building, said this was done in partnership between Australian government and the country’s Department of Education.
He added that the agency will also furnish the room with chairs, tables and equipment.
Asked how they could avail of the Australian aid and made Morong town special to the AusAid, Mayor Estanislao said the additional information can be searched on their facebook as advised Deputy Team Leader Ms Jane Deita.
Mayor Estanislao expressed thanks to the Australian government for the donation, saying this will be a big boost to the municipality’s education program for the poor children here.
