Provincial Tourism Officer, Mrs, Alice Pizarro, in a recent media briefing announced that her office, in close coordination with the Bataan Tourism Foundation chaired by Mrs. Vicky Garcia, is once again conducting an educational tour for free among 1,500 elementary and high school students highlighting the patriotism and gallantry of Filipino-American soldiers during the 2nd World War.

Among the historical places to be visited is the Mount Samat “Dambana ng Kagitingan” Mrs. Pizarro cited that one of the purposes of the educational tour is to strengthen the sense of national pride and patriotism as we encourage our youth to remember the sacrifices of the defenders of Bataan and to use it as ideal stage in our journey towards progress.
Mrs. Pizarro added that this program is a preview of the week long observance of the 78th Anniversary of the Araw ng Kagitingan.
