Residents in the area and local newsmen alike described the ongoing construction of Mulawin-Tala Road in Orani town as “efficient”.
Department of Public Works and Highways First District Engineer Erlindo “Boying” Flores Jr. told newsmen that the 3.332 kilometer-project started in February 2020 and target date of completion is April 10, 2021.
However, the district engineer said the project is 65 percent completed as of September 15 and noted that the project may be finished earlier than the target date.
Local newsmen who took photos saw well-equipped and well-manned construction at the project site. “Kumpleto sa equipment at yung tao sobra-sobra pa yata”, observed Jun Bringula of DWIZ, one of the newsmen who took construction photos.
Upland Tala is now a famous tourist destination with several farm resorts and retreat parks such as Sinagtala Farm Resort and Retreat Park, Vista Tala, and Little Baguio.
