Mr. Zhanlin “Simon” Ye, general manager of Guangjang Manufacturing Corporation, is quietly enthusiastic about the plan of the provincial government to construct an international container port terminal under the Public–Private Partnership (PPP) for the people and investment opportunities in the province to encourage more eco-industrial investments.
Guangjang Manufacturing Corporation is engaged in the production of die cutting mold, laser scalper, carving knife ,selling and processing of materials for handbag and shoe making such as PVC, fiber paper, regenerated leather and related products since 2015.
He cited that industrial locators here have to transport their finished products for export by land with additional cost to the existing seaports in Manila and the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA).
The offshore transshipment hub is a facility which is specifically designed to efficiently dock, unload, reload and service containers ships of all sizes.
Explaining the advantageous strategic location of AFAB, Ye said the construction, development and operation of an international container port terminal right at the mouth of the Manila Bay in Mariveles is extremely profitable for FAB to become the new model for global freeport.
