PILAR, Bataan – A family with the help of some generous people will again distribute bottled water to the faithful who would join the Mt. Samat Pilgrimage in this town come November 26.

Gemo Espinosa said this during his guesting at local radio station 91.1 Sikat.

“This is the fourth year that we will be distributing bottled water,  and we are happy to say that each year the number of the bottled water we distribute  increases from 10,000 during the first year to 15,000 in the second year, and last year 20,000”, he said.

“Those who want to support this project can bring bottled water to our house in Brgy. Poblacion, Balanga or at the JME and EMJ Emission Testing Centers in Brgy. Dona Francisca located near PhilHealth and Balanga Police Station”, added Espinosa.

“We hope to increase this year the number of bottled water to be distributed”, he also said.

The pilgrimage is an annual event of the Diocese of Balanga started in 2004 to mark the First Sunday of Advent. The pilgrims walk the seven kilometer distance from the foot of the famous mountain to the World War II monument, the Dambana ng Kagitingan.

Espinosa is the OIC Admin Officer and Human Resource Officer of BIR Bataan.
