Fathers get special treat from OWD on Father’s Day

ORANI, Bataan – Fathers in this town got special treat from Orani Water District (OWD) on Father’s Day.

Benni Andres, OWD General Manager, said 48 fathers, both clients and OWD staff, got free haircut. He also said father-OWD employees were also given mugs and white t-shirts.

According to OWD statement, their special treat to fathers on Father’s Day was a gender and development (GAD) activity.

This year OWD inaugurated P84.25 million water supply and expansion projects consisting of five packages of works.

“OWD is one of the best managed water districts in the country, and their more than 10,000 household-concessionaires are assured of improved services including clean and quality water”, said LWUA Administrator Andres Ibarra during the inauguration.

The LWUA administrator commended Andres and the OWD employees for the accomplishment.
