Former mayor sees bright future for Hermosa

HERMOSA, Bataan – This town’s former mayor said he sees bright future for Hermosa under the leadership of its new Mayor Jopet Inton.

“He has clear vision for the economic growth of Hermosa. I believe he is keen to expand the Hermosa Zone Industrial Park. I think there is already a site for the expansion of the zone”, former mayor Guding Ferrer said.

“Experience-wise, he is very capable to attain the target for Hermosa”, he added.

It will remembered that Inton had first-hand experience in bringing in investors at the Freeport Area of Bataan when he was staff in Congress of both the late congressman Tet Garcia and Gov. Albert Garcia.

“Not to mention, he has access to many VIPs whom he served as professional pilot. He can ask them help for Hermosa”, said Ferrer who was also a three-term provincial board member.

The new mayor   launched “Flight 333” as his central advocate for Hermosa town. “Flight 333” stands for “3 Taon Panunungkulan Para sa 3   Programa sa Kabuhayan at 3 Programa sa Edukasyon”.

The team said the 3 Programs for Livelihood include building an access road towards poblacion area to have an area for ICT Park; build commercial areas along Culis-Palihan Highway to spur business growth; and build new Economic Zone in upland areas to provide jobs.

On the other hand, the 3 Programs for Education include expansion of ICT education; build and rehabilitate school facilities; and expansion of the Iskolar ng Bataan program in Hermosa.
