Frontliners get recognition in ‘Kumustahan’

Hundreds of frontliners– barangay tanod, Lupong Tagapamayapa members, and Barangay health workers in the 3rd District of Bataan were given due recognition in a simple but meaningful event dubbed “Kumustahan” in Dinalupihan last week.

Dinalupihan Mayor Tong Santos, who hosted the event at the town’s sports complex, said frontliners have dutifully performed their given tasks come rain or shine. “Hindi natin matatawaran ang kakayahan at kagandang-loob sa pagtupad ng kanilang tungkulin,” the Mayor said.

Bataan Third District Congresswoman Gila Garcia applauded the selfless service of frontliners during calamities and the pandemic “to keep us going and away from harm.” The event was witnessed by Pusong Pinoy Partylist Rep. Jett Nisay, municipal councilors of Dinalupihan led by Vice Mayor Fer Manalili and provincial board members.
