Newly-installed Central Luzon police director Brig. Gen. Valeriano Templo De Leon admonished the policemen on Thursday to be professional and observe chain of command. “Huwag nyong suwayin ang nakakataas sa inyo,” he asked Bataan policemen.

De Leon said the policemen should take care of their career and family. “I want you to be disciplined within yourself,” he said.
“I also want you to go out of your air-conditioned office and talk to the barangay folks. Our little contribution matters most, you have to perform and satisfy the people’s expectations” De Leon added.

De Leon earlier paid a courtesy call on Bataan Gov. Abet Garcia at the latter’s office at The Bunker where they discussed the common concerns for security in the business sector and the major government installations in the peninsula province.

At the Camp Tolentino police headquarters, he met police officers under Col. Joel K. Tampis, Jr., also the newly-installed Bataan police director. Tampis presented to De Leon 134 assorted firearms confiscated by the Bataan PNP during the simultaneous anti-criminality and law enforcement operations (Sacleo) in different parts of the province.
