BALANGA CITY, Bataan – Genpact Philippines, a leading business process outsourcing (BPO) company, will start operation in this city.
Dan Reyes, Genpact Country Manager and Gov. Albert Garcia, Balanga City Mayor Joet Garcia, and unopposed Balanga mayoral candidate Francis Garcia signed a Memorandum of Agreement to make official the locating of the company here during a ceremony this morning at Emiliana Hall, Brgy. Tenejero, this city.
“We immediately decided to operate here, our first provincial location, upon learning the vision of Bataan government and Balanga City government. As I say it, it is love at first. We know our business will grow here and provide jobs for the people of the province. Bataan and Genpact want the same thing which is success”, Reyes said.
“All the support we will provide you. You are very welcome in Balanga City”, said Mayor Garcia.
“We thank Genpact for the trust, for investing to our province. Your investment will bring jobs to many Bataan folks. Other towns of Bataan also want to host BPO companies,” said Gov. Garcia.
The company plans to initially hire up to 300 employees in their new center here to be located at 3rd level of Starmall Prima Bataan in Barangay Cupang Proper. The company now accepts applicants. Genpact has currently about 5,000 employees in its two centers in Muntinglupa and Quezon City.
