BALANGA CITY, Bataan – Governor Albert Raymond S. Garcia welcomed the creation of a new organizational concept which would give foreigners a motivating advantage and optimistic of the province’s investment postures toward economic prosperity.
About 300 foreign nationals including investors and financing capitalists were reportedly being drawn to Bataan due to abundant supply of quality workers, stable relationship between management and labor, attractive financial incentives and provincial government support in infrastructure programs, sufficient power supply, stable political and social situation.
Garcia said it would enhance the unifying factor between foreign nationals and the community leading to a more productive and viable financial tie-up toward economic growth. It likewise embraces the mission to aid and assist distressed countrymen and his community in conveying essential messages through efficient means of communication.
Senior Superintendent Rhodel Sermonia, Bataan police director, has formed the Foreign National Keeper Network (FNKN), a group of foreign nationals in the province as an effective conduit in monitoring the status of their countrymen here. Aimed at forging a strong partnership between the police and foreigners residing in Bataan, it likewise aims to promote strong ties and camaraderie among foreign nationals and ensure their safety and security.
The Bataan provincial police director who is the concurrent president of the Police Chiefs Association of the Philippines cited that the keeper serves as a point of contact between foreign embassies and their citizens and local police.
