Gov. Joet Garcia puts emphasis on meritocracy

Bataan Gov. Joet Garcia puts emphasis on meritocracy even as he tries to show how the provincial government utilizes the AI-powered analytics to boost efficiency, transparency and accountability.

The Governor, one of the resource persons in the recently-held three-day “Global Emerging Tech Summit 2025” held at the Bataan Peoples’ Center, said the local government now embraces the sophisticated system like the digital dashboards to run the provincial government.

He explained that through meritocracy “we pay back the employees and the LGUs with high grade of performance and great concern for their services.”

The governor also stressed that education plays a vital role in digital transformation “this is why we continue to push the use of Learning Management System (LMS) in schools to test the students’ performance for good quality of education in Bataan.”

“We encourage our students to embrace the new technology and use it well for the welfare of our folks and for progress of our province,” Garcia added.
