The FAB Central Terminal was built in the freeport zone to provide convenience to both transport group and factory workers.
Businessman Wifredo Tan, president of Hauslands Group, said the central terminal which is actually the project of Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB) will put things in order and proper perspective in so far as the transport system is concerned.
“Bataan is a growing province now and as such we need to put a central terminal to find a right place for workers and motorists.
Para sa ganun, hindi yung kung saan-saan lang sila nag-aabang at pumaparada,” said Tan.
Last February, the groundbreaking for the terminal was held to make way for other amenities scheduled for construction soon.
Tan said he wants this terminal to be an important landmark in Mariveles.
