The municipal government of Limay, Bataan has lined up a number important infrastructure projects set for implementation next year.
Limay Vice Mayor Richie David said among the projects include reclamation for the improvement of Judy’s Park where the local government plans to build connecting roads to adjacent barangays; acquisition of about five to six hectares of land just opposite the old dumping site for the garbage management program; and preparation for a site to put up the 50-bed Limay District Hospital through the effort of Bataan Second District Rep. Jose Enrique Garcia III and the Department of Health.
David said plans are now afoot for the reclamation project and for the construction of connecting roads to Barangay Luz and the adjoining villages. “Balak naming tambakan ang area for the road construction,” he said.
The old garbage dumping site in Sitio Mamala will be converted to a bricks-making site to provide employment for local residents.
