The Municipality of Limay has been recognized as one of the country’s top-performing local government units during the Bureau of Local Government Finance (BLGF) 38th Anniversary Stakeholders’ Recognition held on November 5, 2025.
Limay received the Rank #1 award as the Top Performing Municipality in the Philippines based on the Ratio of Local Revenues to Total Current Operating Income for 2024, and also ranked #3 among the Top 10 Municipalities in Local Source Revenues. The recognition highlights the municipality’s effective local revenue generation and sound fiscal management.
Vice Mayor Grace David said the awards were dedicated to the administration of former Mayor Nelson “NCD” David and the members of the 2024 Sangguniang Bayan, including then Vice Mayor, now incumbent Mayor Richie David, Hon. Sarah V. David, Hon. Cecil Roxas, Hon. Dennis Gochuico, Hon. Manny Ambrocio, Hon. Rory Perez, Hon. Newr Tayag, Hon. Mel Fernando, and Hon. Bart Reyes. Also acknowledged were former Municipal Treasurer Baby Atienza, current Treasurer John Carlo Oracion, Municipal Assessor Jocelyn Linao, and Budget Officer Maureen Guinto for their continued service and contribution to the municipality’s fiscal success.
