Barely two weeks after its launch, the Bataan provincial government’s Logo Making Contest has received overwhelming response from the public since the launch on Feb. 25.
With the banner theme “Protektahan ang Pamilya, Magpabakuna Na,” the contest registered more than 500 participants.
The competition is part of the Provincial Information Office’s (PIO) awareness campaign to drum up support for the vaccination program in the province as it began the roll-out today, March 8 benefitting the priority group of healthcare workers from the Bataan General Hospital and Medical Center (BGHMC) and other public hospitals in Bataan.
The more than 500 contest entries received from mostly young participants were narrowed to 15. The shortlisted entries were posted on the 1Bataan Facebook page where they are expected to create a following and be shared to comprise 10% of the overall criteria for judging.
The grand winner gets Php 20,000 cash prize while the first and second runners-up will win Php10,000 and Php 5,000 respectively. The entry with the most number of shares will also win Netizen’s Choice Award.
The winning entry will be the official logo of the province’s campaign on the vaccination roll out.
The announcement of winners will be on March 10.
