The Province of Bataan will soon have its own version of one of the most popular business hubs in Metro Manila.
This was revealed yesterday in an interview with Pilar Mayor Carlos “Charlie” Pizarro Jr. as he unveiled a short video of what will become to be the next center for business and leisure in Bataan.
“We already started the construction of a six-lane access road link as we prepare to develop this 1,050 hectares of development,” Pizarro said.
Mayor Pizarro said they expect to finish this grand development project by the company owned by Jerry Acuzar in 3 to 5 years. He also thanked his constituents who owned nearby properties for being cooperative to this expansion program of the Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB) which was made possible through the legislative measures authored by Bataan 2nd District Rep. Joet Garcia and full support of Bataan Governor Abet Garcia.
The P4 billion mixed-use development project will have its own pier, areas for manufacturing firms, housing, and business areas that will house grand theaters, malls, hotels and other luxury amenities.
This grand step for the municipality’s progress is expected to generate an estimated P10 billion worth of additional income for thw Province in terms of local and business taxes aside from thousands of job opportunities for Bataeños and nearby provinces.
