Morong bags multiple awards at Galing Bataan Awards 2025

The Municipality of Morong, led by Mayor Leila Linao-Muñoz and members of the Sangguniang Bayan celebrated its achievements  as the town was recognized as the Most Outstanding Local Government Unit in the recent Galing Bataan Awards 2025.

In her message, Mayor Leila Linao-Muñoz expressed heartfelt congratulations and gratitude to all individuals, organizations, and establishments honored at the provincial awards.  She said  that the recognitions show the town’s continuous progress and the collective excellence of the people of Morong.

As one of the top-performing municipalities, Morong earned several distinctions in various categories.

Morong Multi-Purpose Cooperative – 1st Runner-Up, Most Outstanding Performing Cooperative (Agri Category)

Verde Azul Leisure Resort, Morong, Bataan – Most Outstanding Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise (MSME) – Medium Service, Retail Trading & Agri-Based Category

REYSAM Sweet Water Beach Resort – Galing Bataan Nominee – Medium Service, Retail Trading & Agri-Based Category

Willy’s Cashew Nuts – Most Outstanding MSME – Small Food Category

Montey’s Buko Pie – 2nd Runner-Up – Micro Food Category
