THE new municipal hall of Abucay, Bataan will be inaugurated this coming September, according to Engr. Ernesto Vergara, municipal administrator.
The newest Abucay structure the construction of which started in mid-2019 is worth more than P73 million derived from the municipal coffer, Bataan Gov. Abet Garcia and Sen. Cynthia Villar. Located along the national road in Barangay Calaylayan, the new municipal building will house a modern office of the Sangguniang Bayan (municipal council) and municipal government offices.
The much-awaited edifice is the living legacy of Abucay Mayor Liberato P. Santiago, Jr. who is now in his last term as town executive.
