New LTO district office in Orani okayed

ORANI, Bataan- A new district office of the Land Transportation Office (LTO) will be set up in this commercial town after a new law creating it had been approved by President Aquino, the Senate and the House of Representative.

Republic Act No. 10782, or an “Act establishing a regular district office of the Land Transportation office in the Municipality of Orani…”

Ronald Dabu, incumbent chief of LTO, Licensing section in Bataan, welcomed the new law, saying this will give easier access to the public who are coming from Bataan’s first district. “Maganda ito para hindi mahirapan ang mga taga Norte sa pagkuha ng kanilang lisensya,” said Dabu in a telephone call.

The said Act originated from the House of Representative, passed on October 20,2014 was also approved but amended by the Senate on January 19, 2016 and whose amendments were concurred in by the Lower House on January 27, 2016.
