National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) has warned the public against right-of-way negotiators.
“NGCP reminds the public to refrain from communicating with persons falsely representing NGCP and conducting unauthorized right-of-way (ROW) negotiations”, an official statement from the electricity transmission company said.
Reports reached NGCP that some unscrupulous individuals are pretending to be their personnel to victimize residents with a scam concerning ROW claims.
“Bonafide agents of NGCP will have their identification card, uniform, or other authentic documents with them at all times, and will conduct ROW negotiations fairly and professionally”, it also said.
