OFW Family Circle benefits from SSF program

ABUCAY, BATAAN – The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Bataan provincial office led by its OIC-provincial director Nelin Cabahug recently turned-over more than P300,000 worth of breads and pastries processing equipment to Gabon OFW Family Circle Association Inc.

Officials and staff from other government agencies such as the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), Public Employment Service Office (PESO) and the Overseas Workers Welfare Administrator (OWWA) joined Abucay third-termer mayor Ana Dominguez-Santiago in the formal rites. The project is under the shared service facility (SSF) program of the DTI.

“This will be a big boost to their business especially some of their products will be exported abroad thru their relatives overseas when their processing and packaging system improve under this project from the DTI,” Mayor Santiago said.

The members of the said group thanked the DTI officials and the local government unit for helping their group in educating the families here on how to spend and invest their money in business such as this.
