JOB SUMMARY

The Logistics Officer carry the responsibility of facilitating the importation of raw materials and equipment needed for the manufacturing of shoes and exportation of assembled shoes to the directed place through a systematic procedure.

STATEMENT OF DUTIES

Supervise the storage of raw materials and assembled shoes;
Prepare the documents, orders and other requirements needed to facilitate the import and export transactions of the company;
Identify a structured step by step procedures in preparation of needed documents, orders and requirements in order to facilitate imports and exports systematically;
Supervise the implementation of the systematic step by step procedures for imports and exports;
Maintain an on time delivery of shipments both import or export;
Anticipate problems and troubleshoot solutions for issues that the company may encounter in the importing and exporting procedures;
Stay up to date to the government agencies particularly (BIR, BOC and Freeport Zone) new issuances and guidelines with regards to import and export;

BASIC RELATIONSHIP

Shall report directly to the employer. (Specify the Department and the Immediate Head’s position as per the organizational chart)

QUALIFICATIONS

Graduate of any four (4) year degree course but preferably of Custom Management;
Must have at least two (2) years experience in logistics related occupation;
Must a have a knowledge of the Philippine Law and guidelines on importation and exportation
