THE municipal government of Pilar, Bataan takes time to renovate hall amid the pandemic although it has been planned long before the advent of Covid-19.

Pilar Mayor Charlie Pizarro said Governor Abet Garcia had extended financial assistance worth P15 million to the municipal government for the renovation of the municipal hall.
The building had leaks during raining season. “Besides, we have to put up a separate one-stop-shop for our constituents. Lahat ng transaction doon na gagawin, hindi na sa loob ng munisipyo,” explains Pizarro. He said the renovation may be completed before year-end.

Meanwhile, Pizarro said tourist spots like the Mt. Samat Shrine remains closed to the public. “We are still awaiting clearance from the Department of Tourism,” he added.
