PNP chief opens new rehab center, visits 1Bataan Command Center

CAMP TOLENTINO, Balanga City – Philippine Police Police chief, Police Director General Ronald M. Dela Rosa made a command visit last Friday at the Bataan Police Provincial Office here.

Popularly known today as “General Bato,” he and Bataan Governor Albert Garcia led the ribbon cutting ceremony and blessing of Bahay Pag-Asa annex in Limay which is a reformation center for drug addicts and pushers who voluntarily surrendered. The drug users and pushers who surrendered from Oplan “TOKHANG” were also presented to the Chief.

Also during his stay, PDG Dela Rosa visited the 1Bataan Command Center and checked the facilities and equipment which help in monitoring, preventing and capturing activities of lawless elements in the province.

Dela Rosa also lauded the province’s efforts of Bataan police and the support of local chief executives here led by Governor Garcia in the campaign against illegal drugs trade here.

“Yung mga ginagawa nilang hakbang dito sa Bataan ginagawa na nila bago pa man kami maupo ni President Duterte,” Gen. Dela Rosa told the press in a press conference in this camp.
