Bataan 1st District Representative Tony Roman extended his congratulations to the 5,594 examinees who successfully passed the 2025 Bar Examinations, hailing their achievement as a symbol of “Bagong Yugto, Bagong Pag-asa” for the legal profession and the nation.
Roman shared a personal reflection on his own journey as a new lawyer, recalling the emotional moment when he learned he passed the Bar. He recounted how his father embraced him tightly, overcome with pride, a memory that underscored that the triumph of passing the Bar is not only the individual’s success but also a victory shared with families who believed and stood by them throughout the journey.
He emphasized that the practice of law carries a deeper responsibility to serve with both competence and conscience. The lawmaker added that when the law is practiced with the heart, it becomes a genuine instrument of public service.
He encouraged the new lawyers to uphold ethical standards and use their knowledge in advancing justice and serving the Filipino people.
