Samal holds Kasalang Bayan 2025

The  Municipality of Samal under the leadership of Mayor Alex Acuzar  sponsored  Kasalang Bayan 2025 at the town hall on October 21.

Thirty eight  couples  tied the knot  in a mass civil wedding ceremony organized by the local government. Mayor Acuzar wanted to   help local couples get married at a little or no  cost at all.

The “Ninongs” of the newlyweds are  Mayor Acuzar, Gov. Joet  Garcia represented in the ceremony by Board Member Popoy Del Rosario, and First District Congressman Tony Roman. The couples received marriage certificates and tokens from the Samal  local government.

In his message, Cong. Roman commended the event as  celebration of love and  wished  all newly married couples lasting unity. Board Member Del Rosario assured continued  support from the provincial government for programs that strengthen Bataeno families. Vice Mayor Ronie Ortiguerra also attended the ceremony.
