SAMAL, Bataan – Samal Mayor Aida De Guia Macalinao on Tuesday night thanked the key people behind the development of Samal Rural Health Unit (RHU) Online Consultation System. “Maraming salamat po sa Samal RHU sa pangunguna ni Dr. Cristina Santos-Espino sa inyong pusong palaban at buo ang pananampalataya na ang Panginoon ang dahilan ng ating bawat paglilingkod,”
Mayor Macalinao posted on her Facebook Page upon learning that their unique system was featured on 24 Oras, a news program of GMA News. The project also aims to minimize the number of Samaleños who will be needing to visit their local health center for medical check-ups and other health related concerns. Three doctors are on a shifting schedules from Monday to Friday for the online consultations from. 8 a.m.to 6 p.m. via mobile numbers: 09491405514; 09152974334; 09275386159 and 09616223294.
The doctors prescriptions are being sent to the respective patients via the social media page of Samal RHU. Certain medicines which are available at the health center are given free to the patients. Around 15 to 20 patients are being entertained daily according to the mayor. The RHU is also open on weekdays for personal consultations.
