The Sangguniang Panlalawigan (SP) ng Bataan presided by Vice Governor Cris Garcia unanimously passed on Monday a resolution approving the Provincial Development Investment Program (PDIP) 2023-2025 of the Provincial Government of Bataan.
Board Member Manny Beltran, chairman of the Committee of Finance, Budget, Appropriations and Ways and Means, sponsored the resolution.
The provincial board acted on the urgent request of Gov. Joet Garcia.
The governor said PDIP 2023-2025 is a vital document that outlines plans for the province consisting of priority programs, projects, and activities (PPAs).
He said the PPAs are geared towards fostering a highly livable and globally competitive environment for every Pamilyang Bataeno.
PPAs are focused on four development sectors, which are economic development; social development; infrastructure and utility development; and development administration.
