Sangguniang Panlalawigan ng Bataan Committee on Finance, Budget and Appropriations Chairman, BM Rey Ibe, during last Wednesday’s session, filed a resolution for a P1M donation of the Provincial Government of Bataan to the Taal Volcano eruption victims.
According to BM Rey Ibe, said resolution was unanimously approved by the body and they are just waiting for the final approval of Gov. Abet Garcia.
Ibe added that the number of victims in the evacuation centers have reached 8 thousand, hence this help would be of great help.
BM Ibe added that Bataan has been a sanctuary for Batangueños, one of whom is our very own BM Villapando. We have good farmers who started farming in Batangas Dos in Mariveles and in Munting Batangas in Balanga City and many others that we feel they are, our family members.
