VICE GOV CRIS GARCIA WELCOMES TAIWANESE INVESTORS

Vice Gov. Cris Garcia, warmly welcomed yesterday, July 30, representatives of two international companies; the CTCI Corporation of Taiwan and China CAMC Engineering Cp. LTD (CAMCE) who were exploring the possibility of putting up a liquefied natural gas (LNG) and power plant in Bataan.

The CTCI Corporation, with their vast experience is an expert in the fields of oil and gas, petrochemicals, LNG terminals, power plants and infrastructure while China CAMC is an affiliate company of China National Machinery Industry Corporation specializing in international project contracting and covers a range of key areas in Engineering Procurement Construction (EPC), domestic overseas investment and foreign trade.
In her short message, Vice Gov. Cris. Garcia shared to the guests that the Province of Bataan headed by Gov. Abet Garcia is committed to developing the province with the different infrastructures such as the Mariveles-Cavite bridge, Port Terminal in Mariveles, housing projects and even attracting BPO’s that will contribute to the attainment of the highest human development index (HDI) of Bataan focusing on life expectancy, education and economy of the people.
A power point presentation of the Bunker building built under the Public Private Partnership (PPP) scheme, which is nearing its completion, will be the seat of the provincial government and at the same time serve as a “one-stop-shop” for all government transactions resulting to the ease of doing business.
